Living a Blissful Life

Mornings can be rough when you have a toddler so it’s important to have positive thought techniques in your arsenal to turn your day around. Last week my daughter peed on my leg, used my shirt as a kleenex and spilled milk on my purse — all before 7:00 a.m.. I could have let this rough start shape my day in a negative light, but instead I used positive though techniques to reframe my day and turn it into the story that I wanted to live.
I recently discovered that my anxiety decreases and my happiness increases when I establish healthy boundaries. In this blog, I want to share with you three, simple steps to help you establish healthy boundaries in your life.
I have been thinking a lot lately about having a sense of worthiness and belonging. Researcher Brené Brown has discovered that worthiness and belonging are key traits in living a blissful life.
Achieving bliss during times of stress and anxiety can be difficult, but it’s not impossible. I recently discovered some tools that helped me relieve my stress and anxiety. Using these techniques even during stressful situations I have achieved bliss. 
Learning the practice of presence will help you live your best life. The practice of presence helps you enjoy your life as you live it and keeps you from getting sucked in to the pursuit of perfection.  
It is with sadness that I am saying farewell to the HealthyPlace Living A Blissful Life blog. Although my blogging stay at HealthyPlace was a short stay, it was also an extremely fulfilling and often a blissful blogging experience. 
You can change negative thoughts into positive self-talk, although it might take some work. Examples of positive self-talk can infiltrate the negative thoughts at war with your happiness. A couple weeks ago, I shared a technique of how to combat negative self-talk. Today, I want to use that technique again to show another example of how to create positive self-talk to change negative thoughts.
Happiness, hope and harmony can be created in your life by adding color. Some days are filled with positive events that are full of vibrant colors and other days are filled with challenges that can be dark and gloomy. As I open my eyes each morning and wrestle with my thoughts about the upcoming day, I try to see a rainbow of positive color to get me started off on the right foot. One way to create happiness, hope and harmony is to notice the colors around you. 
When it comes to living a blissful life, you have to be present to win. Being present can be difficult when technology gives us so many opportunities to escape. Here are three truths to show you why it’s best to be present.
