On Facebook, I saw someone who wrote as their status: "Today, I will______ without fear." (hoping their followers would fill in the blank.). But sometimes, I think, we can feel fear and do things anyway. It may be too much of a stretch to do things without fear. If we waited to do something until we had no fear, we may never do it.
I changed it. I am not willing to put my life on hold for fear. Are you?

These are some useful auto-suggestive manner to face with fear in satisfying way. Indeed, they indicate an auxiliary remedy of psychiatric treatment and management of anxious disorder, where fear is central symptom. I use this case to stress the necessity of psychopharmacolocal medication to anxious disorders for long term period and in appropriate dose. Without psychiatric medication, the treatment of anxious disorders would be of temporary and incomplete character. I said this fact to eradicate the stubborn thought that psychiatric medication exhibits many side effects. In contrary, medication of fear is crucial therapeutic approach of this common and unkind psychiatric symptom, which one is present to each mental illnesses. Therefore,current psychiatric treatment of fear should be of cardinal importance in definitive dealing with anxious phenomenology, either as primary or secondary symptomatology to any psychiatric entity.
I could not disagree more! I think it is a dangerous disservice to allow people to belief that they cannot help themselves. But you are entitled to your opinion.
Over the way, I support the three dimensional approach of treatment to psychiatric entities, in which ones anxious disorders take primary place. Beside this recommendation, active participation of psychiatric patient on its treatment indicates a prerequisite place and role on current treatment of mental diseases. In the other way active participation of patient with mental difficulties is understood your practical self helping techniques against fear as dominant sign of anxious disorders. My final intention was to prepare the need of complex treatment and management of this and others psychiatric illnesses.
