Considering Understanding of Mental Illness - Video

As I wrote, some people believe that if you don't have a mental illness, you can't understand someone with a mental illness. I'm not sure this is true.

Understanding an Illness

In the video below I explore how understanding a condition is more than just knowing what it is.

If you think about what it's like to live in a wheelchair, you might start to understand just how little you understand about what a person in that situation's life is really like.
