Top Three Burning Questions About Bliss
We only live once, but once is enough if we do it right. Live your life with class, dignity, and style so that an exclamation, rather than a question mark signifies it!~ Gary Ryan Blair
Three Burning Questions About Bliss
- What is Bliss?
This is an excellent question given this is a tough topic to treat. But my sister Tiffany and I define bliss as a magnified emotional state of joy, fulfillment and happiness. - What do you do to quiet your mind?
One of the most daunting challenges of quieting the mind and slowing down your hectic life is continually returning to the babble of the mind, negative events of your past, and predicting negative outcomes for your future. This conditioned response hampers you from experiencing the fullness of joy, fulfillment and happiness. Nurturing a quiet mind and slowing down your hectic life will take practice and time but it is achievable, if you believe. Personally, I found three approaches work for me: listening to ocean sounds, practicing yoga, and swimming early in the morning. - Happiness sounds good, but it is not so easy to be positive when you feel down, what’s your advice on overcoming this? The lens by which we view happiness is unique. Therefore, the formula for finding and cultivating happiness is different for everyone. There is no textbook answer. However, there are things you can do routinely that can lead to living a happier life. For example: Discover what fuels you and lifts others up. Engage in energizing activity such as exercise and recreation. Express gratitude for what you have and to others. Do more of this!
If you have experienced bliss even once, imagine living it every day. Of course, there are periods when life can bring to bear times of dissatisfaction and sadness. But how you respond to those times is up to you. And, it is a choice. The path to everyday bliss must be cultivated by you.
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. ~Denis Waitley
