Hired in 1983 as the Center's first full-time Independent Living Advocate; performed in a variety of clinical capacities with the Center's Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Casework, and Emergency teams for six years. Developed and expanded data collection capacity in Intake/Emergency department; native curiosity led to position in 1989 as MIS Assistant. Promoted to Administrative assistant to Executive Director in 1990; assumed responsibility for directing the activities of Center's associated housing, employment, and transportation corporations in addition to assisting with overall Center management. Statewide budget constraints necessitated consolidation of administrative departments; in 1991 assumed responsibility for Center's MIS department in addition to Associated
Corporations.
