Gift from Within ~ A private, non profit organization dedicated to those who suffer post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), those at risk for PTSD, and those who care for traumatized individuals. We also have an International support pal network for survivors of traumatic events. Our philosophy is to rekindle hope and restore dignity to trauma survivors. Our interest is in helping survivors cope but we also have resources for therapists.

The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness ~ A non-profit organization dedicated to the public education and awareness of eating disorders. The website contains a plethora of materials dealing with eating disorders such as definitions, sign and symptoms, medical dangers, suggested reading lists, treatment center lists, referrals phone numbers, personal stories, and other helpful websites. Free informational packets are available for parents, teens, friends, family members, and students. Presentations are available upon request.

Lysamena Project on Self-Injury~Very informative and supportive site on self-injury. The webmaster is Christian and uses her faith as a way of support, but the website is designed for Christians and non-Christians alike. :)

It Really Is Ok To Talk About It (A Mental Health Site) ~ Great site to look into. :) Has not only links to many other sites on eating disorders, but also relating to other issues such as self-mutilation, post-traumatic stress syndrom, suicide, bipolar disorder, and so on.

ED Referral ~ We are dedicated to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders. Edreferral.com provides information and treatment resources for all forms of eating disorders. Our goal is to provide assistance, in the form of information and resources, to those suffering with eating disorders to get them started on the road to recovery and healthy living.

Letters for Prevention ~ This is a site run by a 15 year old suffering from anorexia. Come here to read letters written by current sufferers of eating disorders, or to submit a letter yourself. :)
