Please keep in mind, the more thought and time you put into this, the more you will get
out of it. The time allotments written after each sentence are only to give you an idea of
the amount of time allocated within the workshop format. If you feel that you need more
time, please work on this on your own at your own pace. I have been working to get to this
point consciously for 5 years and do not expect that it will be a quicker process for
anyone else.
Day 1 "Rediscovering Childhood"
- Short Introduction to the material, telling of my childhood experiences. (15 -30 min)
- Guided meditation to uncover joyful childhood experiences.(10 min)
- Group brainstorming and discussions on joyful childhood and adult experiences.(20-40
min)
- Independent work on questions. (30-60 min.)
- Group discussion on what we see about ourselves as positive and negative qualities. (30
min)
- Some tools for self acceptance, prayer, affirmations, etc.
Exercise to try at home:
Take a look at the traits and characteristics that you dont like about yourself,
compare them to the traits and characteristics that you do like. By themselves, can you
see anything negative about these characteristics? If a child who you love told you that
they had these negative feelings about themselves, what would you say to the child to help
him or her to see past the perceived imperfections?

Day 2 "Recognizing Our Wounds"
- Short introduction to the days topic. What my pain and childhood wounds told me and how
it manifested into my adult life (10 min.)
- Discussion about the home exercise: What would you tell the child? Group discussion on
how others have accepted and rejected us in the past in both childhood and adulthood. (20
min.)
- Guided meditation to childhood wounds. Uncovering painful childhood memories.
- Independent work on questions.(60 min)
- Group discussion about patterns that we recognize throughout our lives. (20 min)
- Prayer for healing the parts of ourselves that we have rejected. (10 min)
Exercise to try at home:
Write a letter to the people who hurt you in childhood and explain to them how they
hurt you. You dont have to send it, just putting it down on paper should be enough.
Many times, people have no idea what affect they have had on people. A passing comment may
have an emotional impact for life. If you feel impelled, you can call the person and
explain to them as an adult how this affected you.
Day 3 "The Power of Thought and Transformation"
- Short discussion about patterns of self hatred and the power of thought. Could anyone
see patterns between their outer experiences and inner thoughts?(15 min)
- Group discussion about any experiences that the group might want to share about the home
exercise. Were there any realizations or new found understandings? (30 min)
- Group meditation on recognizing our destructive thoughts and transforming them into
thoughts of acceptance and love.
- Independent work on questions. (45 min)
- Group discussion on transformation and what it means to be transformed. Brainstorm for
some suitable affirmations to tell ourselves and each other. (20 min)
- Meditation to release self hatred and welcome deliverance.
Exercise to try at home:
Take a suitable affirmation from todays workshop and either write it down 10
times per day or, or face yourself in the mirror and tell yourself the affirmation for a
few minutes per day, face to face. If you have a hard time doing this, search your
feelings and figure out why you are having a problem. If you hear or tell yourself
something enough times, you will eventually believe it...in your heart.
