A Personal Message from Dr. Young:

Our Virtual Clinic provides Crisis Intervention, Education, and Individual Counseling. I am a clinical psychologist and have worked with hundreds of clients in a variety of medical settings including Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical School, WPIC, and the Cleveland VA Medical Center. In March of 1997, I established the first Virtual Clinic for Internet addiction issues and general mental health problems. While I initially started the clinic to work with individuals and families dealing with cyber-related problems (e.g., cyberaffairs, pornography addiction, on-line time management), I also counsel those who suffer from relationship problems, anxiety, depression, social phobia, compulsive sexual behavior, problem eating, and much more. Because knowledgeable and high quality resources are often limited and expensive, I created this service to meet your healthcare needs. How do you begin?

First, decide what type of service you prefer. To provide the best service to you, several options are available. I offer three types: EMAIL COUNSELING, CHAT ROOM COUNSELING, and TELEPHONE COUNSELING. Just click on the service you are most interested for a full description and rate information. Read each carefully and then think about which service fits best with your time and budget. If you wish, multiple forms of service are possible.

EMAIL COUNSELING: Personalized messages to directly address your situation.

CHAT ROOM COUNSELING: Live, interactive, and confidential chat room sessions conducted in real time.

TELEPHONE COUNSELING: Live, direct, and confidential therapeutic conversations.

You can learn how to:

Email Counseling:

Email Counseling provides you with direct advice concerning your situation in a caring and confidential manner.

With each new client, I ask that you simply [CLICK HERE] to fill out our server secure counseling request form that will ask questions related to your situation. Please be sure to provide as much detail as possible when completing the form. This information will help me to provide the best guidance for your concerns.

You can choose between the One Session Plan that includes an extensive e-mail reply to your submitted counseling request form that costs just $15.00 (US) OR you can select the Multiple Session Plan that includes three on-going e-mail replies for a special discounted rate of just $35.00 (US). Please indicate on your request form which you prefer.

Payment can be made directly with a any credit card (including Visa, MC, Discover, or American Express) or by check or money order, whichever is most convenient for you. Details are included on the counseling request form. I will reply within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of your email and payment confirmation. You can decide whether you want to have an on-going relationship, or just a one-time session

Chat room counseling:

Chat Room Counseling is a live, real-time, interactive dialogue directly with the me. Once we arrange a time to talk, you will be given access information for entrance into my PRIVATE chat room. This service allows us to have a more in-depth conversation and enables you to freely express your concerns and to ask several questions. In many cases, individual chat room sessions can be arranged within one or two days after your initial inquiry.

Since marriages and significant relationships suffer from the aftermath of a cyberaffair or cybersexual addiction, I also offer Chat Room Counseling for Couples. Couples Counseling allows you both to engage in the counseling experience together to quickly resolve these issues and helps to rebuild the broken trust, renew commitment, and rekindle the passion in your relationship.

The fees are based upon the number of sessions desired. Chat room sessions are arranged in 60 minute intervals with a cost of $75.00 (US) for each session or you may select the Counseling Package Plan of three 60 minute chat room sessions for a special discount rate of $210.00 (US). The cost includes an initial diagnostic consult and brief, solution-focused interventions are used to provide immediate results. Couples Counseling is available at the same rate schedule. The fee is more cost effective than office visits that range from $95.00 - $150.00 and these discrete sessions can be conducted from the privacy of your own home.

Payment can be made directly with a credit card or by check or money order, whichever is most convenient for you. Telephone Counseling:

Telephone Counseling provides the most direct contact for immediate results. In many cases, individual telephone sessions can be arranged within one or two days after your initial inquiry.

Since marriages and significant relationships suffer from the aftermath of a cyberaffair or cybersexual addiction, I also offer Telephone Counseling for couples.
