
About Steven Ledingham
D. Steven Ledingham, B.S., L.N.H.A. was diagnosed with Attention Deficit
Disorder at the age of 39. Since that time he has been extremely active in
exploring treatments, compensation techniques, and self-help and support group
systems. In 1989, he co-founded one of the first Adult Self-Help groups in the
United States. Steven Has written two books on Attention Deficit Disorder,
including: "The Scoutmaster's Guide to ADDA", and with Reed
Robertson co-authored "The ASK Guide To Running A Successful Self-Help
Group For ADD Adults." He is the co-author of "The ADDed
Dimension-Daily Suggestions for ADD Adults," by Kate Kelly and Peggy
Ramundo.
Steven established what he calls the "ASK SYSTEM" which is a
self-help group program and structure which includes both program (content)
materials for Adult ADD groups, as well as a specific system for facilitating
them that can be done by both the "non-professional" as well as the
"professional trained facilitator." Steven provides training for
Scout leaders in the Tucson area, but is also interested in helping Scouting
leaders nationally. As an active speaker at conventions, I may be in your

Steven has worked actively as a computer systems integrator and network
consultant, and was the "Web master" of the ADDA site for its entire
first year prior to the creation of ASK about ADD web site. Previously he
worked for three years at the University of Arizona, as the director of the
Biology Learning Center, a computer assisted biology instructional facility.
He is currently on the ADDA board of directors as the Self-Help and Support
Group Chairperson. Steven is a very active writer, speaker and ADD coach
living in Tucson, Arizona.
Steven is currently (1998) releasing Version II of "The Scoutmaster's
Guide for ADD," as well as working on various projects for the National
Attention Deficit Disorder Association, CHADD, and contributing to several new
publications in the field.
