| Comments - adult add, student. no
support from parents. can't afford to join CHADD. any success stories about
physicians who HAVE add? (I'm Pre-Med). Also, having a hard time affording my
meds. last but not least: why are there no resources about
colleges/professional schools and ADD? |

| Comments - I am an adult with add. I
have worked in a frozen foods processing plant for the last 5 seasons, I never
told my supervisor that I had ADD. We became friends and I was put on the spot
by her supervisor to tell her that I had ADD. They found this out thru a
routine drug screening, which I failed. I am taking dexedrine. Anyway, since I
told my friend, supervisor, she doesnt call me anymore, she acts as if she
understands, or at least says she does but my fears of telling anyone has
really came to be true. I dont know what to do? She is a great boss and was a
terrific friend, I thought????? |

| Comments - I am an ADD spouse. I live in
the Northern Virginia area and would appreciate hearing about any support
groups for spouses. I have not been successful in locating any such groups to
date. Can anyone help? |

| Comments - Adult, diagnoses with ADHD as
a child, labeled by Dad as "lazy" and taken off medication, having
difficulties. I got through college and other studies well. However, now that I
have children and so many things to do, I have a much harder time and it seems
that my "daydreaming" and failure to stay on task or listen to
conversations has become much more of a problem |
